Description

Join NYC Audubon Board members Angie Co and Simon Keyes for a spring morning in one of New York City’s most iconic parks. Prospect Park is one of New York City’s best birding destinations, an Important Bird Area, and home to hundreds of bird species. We will explore the Vale of Cashmere, a woodland habitat within the park soon to undergo restoration and teeming with birds like Black-Crowned Night Herons, Warbling Vireos, American Redstarts, and more.

 

Registration required. Must be a current NYC Audubon member to register; please note that you may sign up for only one members-only event per season. Limited to 35.

 

Accessibility and Directions:

Prospect Park trails are paved and mostly flat. Multiple restrooms can be found all across the park. There is no onsite parking. For more information on directions, visit the Prospect Park website.
