Celebrate Juneteenth—African American Emancipation Day—with an outdoor event alongside the freest creatures in the world, birds! Meet at the Dana Discovery Center on the Harlem Meer for a birding expedition through the north end of Central Park, to be followed by a Juneteenth potluck picnic in the park. Bring something to eat and drink (non-alcoholic, please) and a little extra to share. All ages welcome. Join us! Binoculars available to borrow. Registration required. Limited to 40. Free
